Qualifications

Pollution Control Officers are graduates of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Environmental/health/ safety), Chemistry or equivalent. Relevant Certificates from DENR for Pollution Control Officer is also required. At least 3-5 years experience is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems
  • Knowledgeable in facilitating solid waste disposal, hazardous waste including emergency response
  • Familiarity in facilitating ambient test, Stack Emission Test, water sampling, monitoring sewage treatment facility
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools
