Welders are graduates of Vocational Course in Welding and posses a Certificate in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (NC II).
- Adeptness in using welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
- Adeptness in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in English
Tuition fee in BS in Industrial Technology major in Welding Technology/Metal Trades-Welding and Pipefitting cost P3,000 – P7,500 per semester while Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II cost P43,000 for entire program.
