Heavy Equipment Operators have at least a High School/ Vocational Diploma/ Short course with NC II or TESDA Certifications (WHEEL LOADER OR PAY LOADER) or any equivalent.
At least 2-3 years of working experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator and a Driver’s license with restrictions 1,2,3 & 8 are required.
1. Physically fit
2. Proficiency in driving heavy equipment
3. Excellent eyesight, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
4. Ability to observe occupational safety and health protocols
Basic Education is free in public schools.

Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators may lead a team of heavy equipment workers on a project. There is also the opportunity of owning own heavy equipment and operating as a business.
